Construction of a warehouse for "TELLIT"
The work on this project has become meanwhile an essential part of life for the women of Gougaram. In that way they get more economic responsibility in the familiy, independence and dignity in the community as well as money for buying food and clothes.

„Tellit“ is a well going project of ENMIGRAW created for strengthening the women of Talak.
The objective is now to secure this activity also for the future and to extend this cooperative. The women’s interest to cooperate with „Tellit“ is very big.
Therefore ENMIGRAW plans to build a bigger warehouse for storing more raw material. At the same time the women have the opportunity to deposit their goods until selling them on the local markets.

When the Tuareg had made the necessary stones, the construction of the warehouses „Tellit“ and „Tidaout“ proceeded quickly. At the end of October 2006 we put in the windows and doors, we covered the roof and installed the drainpipes. Finally we plastered both storehouses inside and outside.
In order to save the costs for one wall, the two storehouses were built against each other symmetrically.
The costs of the warehouse of "Tellit" amounted to CHF 2'340.-
The woman of the project contributes CFA 50'000 (about CHF 110.-)!
