Garden in Gougaram

Garten Gougaram
The Tuareg nomads in the north of Niger who were forced to settle down by climate change have the new colossal task to improve their existence by agricultire andcattle breeding. But to this end they are still lacking the fundamental needs like gardens, tools and seeds. In order to improve their life on the edge of poverty they must work for these requirements.

ENMIGRAW plans to build a garden for vegetables and fruit for the local population’s benifit. We realised this new project by sponsoring and supporting the construction and operation of the new well.

Planting the first tree

The harvest is sold to the local population at constantly favourable prices and thus makes a constibution to the food supply. ENMIGRAW reinvests possible surplus into other regular projects.

With this garden we strongly hope to improve lastingly the living conditions of 2'000 people.
